Kenneth Carl Allen

McMinnville, TN resident and Coffee County, TN native Kenneth Carl Allen, age 92, was born September 11, 1928 and died June 2, 2021 at NHC Healthcare in McMinnville, TN following an extended illness. United States Army National Guard veteran, retired maintenance employee from Genesco and MPC, and a member of Rockliff Church of Christ, he was the son of the late James and Ethel McAfee Allen. He was married to Naomi Lowe Allen who preceded him in death on March 29, 2014. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by brother, Vernon Allen; sister, “Teddy” Harmon; and grandchild, Rachel Allen. Mr. Allen is survived by five children, Carl Lynn (Lynn Redmon) Allen of Eagleville, TN and Greg Allen, Brian Allen, Demetra (Jimmy) Alley, and Kyle Allen, all of McMinnville, TN; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters and brother-in-law, Helen Barnes of McMinnville, TN and Shirley and Mac McCartney of Franklin, TN; and nieces and nephews also survive. Graveside service and interment will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 5, 2021 at Rockliff Cemetery in Warren County, TN with Robert Horton officiating. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday and 10:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. on Saturday at High’s. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Rockliff Cemetery.
