Kenneth Rigsby

Rock Island, TN resident and Van Buren County, TN native Kenneth Rigsby, age 70, was born September 4, 1955 and died August 28, 2026 at his residence following an extended illness.

A retired sawyer with Ames Corporation, farmer and a member of Mt. Elim Baptist Church, he was the son of the late Harold Bradford and Hazel Maxine Linville Rigsby. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother-in-law, Charlie Myers.

He was married to Janice Rigsby of Rock Island, TN on September 5, 1973. In addition to his wife, he is survived by sisters, Brenda Myers of the Cedar Grove Community, Sandra (Wade) Bouldin of Spencer, TN and Pam (John) Comer of Rock Island, TN; brother, Keith (Misty) Rigsby of Morrison, TN and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Gentiva Hospice for their loving care and kindness shown during this period for Kenneth and his family.

Graveside service and interment will be held at 5:00 p.m. Sunday, August 30, 2026 at Long Cemetery in Van Buren County, TN with Jamey Pack officiating. Visitation will be Sunday from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. at High’s.
