Kimberly Kay Sain

Manchester, TN resident and Muncie, IN native Kimberly Kay Sain, age 61, was born September 28, 1963 and died September 13, 2025 in the comfort of her home following an extended illness.

Kim was a Christian and a member of the Church of Christ. She was devoted to her family, loved her farm and was never seen without a book in her hand. A store manager in McMinnville for Rite Aid/Walgreens, she had many friends and rarely met a stranger. She was a caring friend, a compassionate mother and beloved wife of 40 years.

Kim was married on April 7, 1985 to Troy Alan Sain of McMinnville, TN who survives. In addition to her husband, she is survived by children, Shannon Sain and Thomas Sain, father-in-law, Gary Grizzell; brother-in-law, David (Judy) Sain; nephew, Michael Sain and niece, Casey (Alex) Melgar.

The daughter of the late Thomas M. Melton and Betty Jean Mooneyham Melton, she was preceded in death by sister, Stephanie Melton Weast and mother-in-law, Ruby Grizzell.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, September 17, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. in High's Chapel. Burial will follow at Wesley's Chapel in Coffee County, TN. Visitation will be Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at High's.
