Lennie Ruth Kesey

McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native Lennie Ruth Kesey age 76, was born September 14, 1949 and died July 5, 2026 at St. Thomas West Hospital in Nashville, TN following an extended illness.

An Educator for thirty plus years with the Warren County School System and a member of Bybee Branch Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Claude Ray and Edna Lee Wagner Smith. She was married to Dickie Wayne Kesey on June 4, 1976 who preceded her in death. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by brother-in-law, James Dewey Daniel.

Mrs. Kesey is survived by sons, Clent (Lynette) Kesey and Ryan (Lorie) Kesey, both of McMinnville, TN; grandchildren, Brooke, Ella, Aiden and Corbin Kesey and sister, Linda Daniel of McMinnville, TN.

Graveside service and interment will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, July 10, 2026 at Smyrna Cemetery in Warren County, TN with Tony Lawrence and Ray Weddington officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at High’s. No visitation will be held on Friday and family and friends will meet at the cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bybee Branch Youth Group, Boyd Christian School or Meals on Wheels.
