Linda Gail Watts

Rock Island, TN resident and Warren County, TN native Linda Gail Watts, age 72, was born March 13, 1951 and died March 25, 2023 at her residence following an extended illness.           

A retired employee with Tenneco, she was the daughter of Juanita Richardson Bowdoin of McMinnville, TN and the late Julius Bowdoin. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by sister-in-law, Cathey Bowdoin.

She was married to Harold Watts of McMinnville, TN on July 6, 1990. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Watts is survived by daughter, Amber (Joey) Young of McMinnville, TN; step-daughter, Wendy Watts of McMinnville, TN; grandchildren, Logan Thomison, Aiden Young and Lakeland Young; two brothers: Greg (Denise) Bowdoin and Danny Bowdoin, both of McMinnville, TN;  best friend and cousin, Doris Young of McMinnville and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside service and interment will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 27, 2023 at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Warren County, TN with Ray Weddington officiating. Visitation will be Monday from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at High’s.
