Altamont, TN resident and California native Linda Jean Sloan, age 75, was born March 16, 1951 and died October 25, 2026 at her residence.
A former office controller with John Sloan Fencing, she was the daughter of the late Robert Monnick and Katherine Sprague Allison. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Sloan.
Mrs. Sloan is survived by her sons, Dean (Candace) Farnsworth and Robert Preiss, all of Murfreesboro, TN, and grandchildren, Levi, Joshua and Karlee.
Per her wishes, Mrs. Sloan will be cremated.
