Maria Reina Luna

McMinnville, TN resident and Dolores Hidalgo, Guanajuato Mexico native Maria Reina Luna, age 76, was born January 22, 1949 and died November 17, 2025.

Born Maria Reyna Balderas Villagas, she was the daughter of the late Felipe Balderas Hernandez and Maria Guadalupe Villegas Duran. She was married to Dwight Edward Luna who preceded her in death. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Consuelo Balderas Villegas and Josefa Balderas Villegas and sister-in-law, Bonnie Chacon.

Maria leaves to cherish her memory daughters, Laura (T.J.) Watts, Margarita (Ricardo) Rodriguez and Maria Ayde (Timmy) Ray, grandchildren, Hector (Alisa) Martinez, Laura Martinez, Vanessa (Jacob) Ledbetter, Jacqueline Rodriguez, Hugo Balderas, Nikki Watts, Hanah Ray, Savanah Ray and Alton Ray; great-grandchildren, Delilah, Samson, and one on the way; siblings, Antonio, Cosme, Francisco, Julia, Casimiro, Elena, Angeles, and Felipe; brothers-in-law, Larry (Angie) Luna and Gelasio Chacon; and several nieces and nephews and friends.

Maria was a born-again believer and we have comfort in knowing that she is now fully healed and rejoicing in the presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Per Mrs. Luna’s wishes, she will be cremated. No service or visitation will be held at High’s.

María fue una creyente nacida de nuevo y tenemos consuelo al saber que ahora está completamente sanada y regocijándose en la presencia de su Señor y Salvador, Jesucristo.

De acuerdo con los deseos de la Sra. Luna, será cremada. No se llevará a cabo servicio ni visita en High’s.
