McMinnville, TN resident and Dekalb County, TN native Marie Martin Ledbetter Hutchings, age 87, was born July 8, 1936 and died January 18, 2024 at her residence following an extended illness.
A kitchen employee with Medley’s Diner and of the Pentecostal faith, she was the daughter of the late Vester and Zona Ferrell Martin. She was preceded in death by former husband and father of her children, J.C. Melton; husbands, Jim Ledbetter and Reed Hutchins; sister, Patricia Norrod; maternal grandparents, John and Gracie Ferrell; great-grandchild, Christian Adams; great-great-grandchild, Raylon Cantrell; foster brother, Terry Thompkins and best friends, Gracie Arnold and Betty and Luther West.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 23, 2024 in High’s Chapel with Charles Dotson and Jackie Matheny officiating. Burial will follow at Morrison Cemetery in Warren County, TN. Visitation will be Monday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday from 8:00 a.m. until time of service at High Funeral Home.
