Mark Allen "Polak" Whiles

Morrison, TN resident and Trenton, MI native Mark Allen “Polak” Whiles, age 66, was born August 14, 1958 and died April 28, 2025 at Willow Branch Health and Rehabilitation in McMinnville following an extended illness.

A retired truck driver for Batesville Casket Company, he was the son of the late Lester and Ann Fortunara Berna Whiles. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by father-in-law and mother-in-law, Dean and Gloria Young and brother-in-law, Jack Davenport.

He was married to Brenda Young Whiles of Morrison, TN on January 28, 1978. In addition to his wife, Mr. Whiles is survived by son, Rodney (Detra) Whiles of McMinnville; grandchildren, Ashton (Jaythan) Marsh and Maggy Whiles, both of McMinnville; brothers, Lester, Jr., Steve and George; sisters, Mary Barrows and Fay (Leslie) Mayhan; special sister-in-law, Beverly Davenport; special nephew, Jason (LaDonna) Fann and nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 30, 2025 in High’s Chapel with Kyle Fisher and Rachel Cantrell officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Warren County. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at High’s.
