Martha Lou Holt

Morrison, TN resident and Warren County, TN native Martha Lou Holt, age 87, was born March 2, 1935 and died September 8, 2022 at her residence following an extended illness. Retired from receiving at Carrier Corporation and a member of Grange Hall Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Bryan and Demma Roberts Bouldin. She was married to Rayburn Holt of Morrison, TN on June 1, 1955. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers and sisters-in-law, Wilmus (Frances) Bouldin and J.C. (Rosie) Bouldin; sisters and brothers-in-law, Pauline (Lester) McCormick, Emma (Bernice) Pope and Berdie (Floyd) Grissom. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Holt is survived by special family friends, Tammy Moats, Teresa Stoner, Audrey Hillis and Martha Caswell; special sisters-in-law, Earlene Vickers and Wanda Bouldin and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great nephews. Funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, September 11, 2022 in High’s Chapel with Ricky Burks and Stanley Roberts officiating. Burial will follow at Bascom Cemetery in Warren County, TN. Visitation will be Saturday from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until time of service at High Funeral Home.
