McMinnville, TN resident and Nashville, TN native Mary Elizabeth Cooper, age 82, was born June 7, 1943 and died March 20, 2026 at her residence following an extended illness.
A retired employee of Mitchell’s retail store management team, she was the daughter of the late Noble R. and Meda Blair Carr. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Charles Tyson Ferrell and sister, Brenda McCarthy.
Mrs. Cooper is survived by her daughter, Kim Chrisman of McMinnville, TN; sons, Brian Cooper of Murfreesboro, TN, Wesley Adam Cooper of McMinnville, TN and David Carr of Kentucky and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Per her wishes, Mrs. Cooper will be cremated. There will be no service or visitation held at High’s.
