Mary Elizabeth Hillis Adcock

McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native Martha Elizabeth Hillis Adcock, age 76, was born April 3, 1947 and died September 3, 2023 at Willow Branch Health and Rehabilitation in McMinnville, TN following an extended illness.

A retired nursery worker and a member of Arlington Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Martin and Elmar Savage Hillis. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Jerlene Hillis and Joyce Bond and brothers, Joe and Jerry Hillis.

Mrs. Adcock was married to William Carl Adcock of McMinnville, TN on November 21, 1965. In addition to her husband, she is survived by children, Korena Sue Adcock and Adam Trent Adcock, both of McMinnville; brother, Don Hillis of McMinnville, TN; sister, Pearlene Baker of McMinnville, TN and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Graveside service and interment was held on Tuesday, September 5, 2023 at Smyrna Cemetery in Warren County, TN with Jon Simmons officiating.
