Mary Ellen Barnes Milstead

Mary Ellen Barnes Milstead, age 93, a Warren County, TN resident and native was born October 31, 1925 and passed away July 23, 2019 following a short illness. She was a homemaker, member of Hebron Church of Christ and daughter of the late Jesse and Mary Hill Barnes. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Alton Milstead; brothers, Sid Barnes and J.L. Barnes; and sisters, Nannie Rigsby and Quim Bottoms. Mrs. Milstead is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Sharon and Woody Hillis of McMinnville and Maureen and Eddie Tubbs of Alexandria; six grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 26, 2019 at Hebron Church of Christ with Chris Perry and Derrick Stiles to officiate. Interment till follow in Hebron Cemetery. Visitation will be 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday and 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Friday at High’s.
