Mary Margaret Grissom

Morrison resident and native Mary Margaret Grissom, age 67, was born July 19, 1958 and died September 1, 2025 at her residence following a sudden illness. 

A homemaker, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Mary York Beumer. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Danny Grissom; sister, Ellen Beumer and brother, Joe Beumer. 

Mrs. Grissom is survived by daughters, Denise (Rolando) Mendiola of Morrison and Jamie Huckstead (Jason Cagle) of McMinnville; step-children, Gina Huckstead, Lori Huckstead and Tammy Jordan; grandchildren, Joseph Liebl, Christian Mendiola, Mason (Ali) Vaughn and Morgan Vaughn; sisters, Carol Jabs and Teresa Beumer; brothers Bernard Beumer and Henry Beumer; several nieces and nephews also survive. 

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, September 8, 2025 in High's Chapel with Dustin Stoetzel officiating. Burial will follow in Smyrna Cemetery. The family will receive visitors on Sunday from 2:00 p.m until 8:00 p.m. and Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
