Mary Eiliene Hodges

Sparta, TN resident and Alexander, WV native Mary Eiliene Hodges, age 88, was born July 15, 1936 and died April 2, 2025 at Life Care Center of Sparta following an extended illness.

A retired office manager for IWC and member of Hamptons Crossroads Baptist Church, she was the daughter of the late Dallas and Eleanore Zickefoose Lake. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Roy Hodges; son, Roger Hodges and siblings, Albert Lake, Ida Pack, Margaret McClintok and Jim Lake.

Mrs. Hodges is survived by children, Mike McCoy of Madison, OH and Pam (Alan) Maltry of Wickliffe, OH; grandchild, Becky Hodges; brother, Ervin Lake of Alexander, WV; sister, Shirley Chisam of McMinnville, TN; niece and caretaker, Christine Pack of McMinnville and several nieces and nephews.

Per her wishes, Mrs. Hodges will be cremated.
