Melvin Cletis Rigsby

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Melvin Cletis Rigsby, age 82, was born May 24, 1941 and died November 21, 2023 at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro, TN. A veteran of the United States Air Force and former employee of Cook’s Pest Control, he was the son of the late Audie M. and Addie L. Fennell Rigsby. He was married to Jean Ward Rigsby who preceded him in death. Mr. Rigsby is survived by daughter, Shawn Rigsby; brother, Ronald (Debbie) Rigsby of McMinnville; sister, Sheran (David) McNatt of Franklin, TN; two nieces, Phoenix Rigsby of McMinnville and Amy Simpler of Frankling and nephew, Ryan Townsend of Franklin, TN. Mr. Rigsby will be cremated and a private family service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Meals on Wheels.
