Melvin Jay Steenwyk

Melvin Jay Steenwyk, 83 years old, passed away at home on Monday, March 14th of 2022. Mel was an involved member of the community and was a Free Mason, Shriner, Honor Guard in the American Legion, and an Army veteran. Mel spent most of his life as a business salesman, and in his free time, loved to play golf and ride motorcycles. He was survived by his wife of 59 years, Joyce; his sister, Rose; his two sons and their wives, Darrell and Laurie and Daniel and Ruth; his four grandchildren, Zach, Hayley, Zoe and Clark and his good friend, Mark Konish. There will be a public visitation from 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 17th at High Funeral Home. Online condolences may be made at www.highfuneralhome.com.
