Merrilyn Rose Pegg

McMinnville, TN resident and Logan County, KY native Merrilyn Rose Pegg, age 74, was born June 25, 1949 and died October 15, 2023 at her daughter's residence following an extended illness. A retired home health LPN and a member of the Catholic Church, she was married to Douglas Arvel “Skip” Pegg in 1972, who preceded her in death on April 16, 2023. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her mother, Jeanette Rose Conn and sister, Phyllis Sessler. Mrs. Pegg is survived by daughters, Kimberly Renee (Kelly) Hillis of McMinnville, TN, Kristie Lee Pegg (Shawn Roberts) of McMinnville, TN and Sunshine (Ernie) Cook of Alexandria, TN; stepson, Chris (Amanda) Pegg of Shelbyville, TN; grandchildren, Lauren Pegg, Colby Pegg, MaKayla Cook, Mackinzie Youngblood, Adam Pistole, Alex Hillis and Kyra Hillis; several great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; sister, Jennifer Stockard; several nieces and nephews; special family member, Aunt Faye Mix and special friends, Sheila Brown, David Hobbs and Junior Jones.
