Michael "Buckey" Mitchell

Rock Island, TN resident and Warren County, TN native Michael “Buckey” Mitchell, age 42, was born July 13, 1980 and died suddenly September 26, 2022. An employee of Barker Construction in McMinnville, TN and of the Church of Christ faith, he was the son of Kevin Mitchell and Marlene Spakes. He was preceded in death by grandmother, Zada Belle Mitchell and uncle, David Mitchell. In addition to his parents, Mr. Mitchell is survived by step-father, Jeff Tyler; step-mother, Jane Mitchell; son, Isaiah Michael Mitchell; daughter, Zada Beth Mitchell; sister, Lori Redmon of McMinnville, TN; step-sister, Katelynn Cammack of Cookeville, TN; grandfather, Gordon Mitchell of McMinnville, TN; niece, Jadie (Skyler) Wanamaker; nephew, Tyne (Kaitlyn) Murray of McMinnville, TN; two great-nieces, Fynlee and Saylar Wanamaker and lifelong special friend, Justin Younglove. Per Mr. Mitchells wishes, he will be cremated. Memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, October 1, 2022 at High Funeral Home.
