Monty Keith Jennings

Rock Island resident and McMinnville native, Monty Keith Jennings, age 87, was born December 15, 1939 and died August 15, 2025 following an extended illness.

A United States Army veteran and a beloved employee of Crooked Stick Feed for ten years, he was the son of the late George Washington and Clara Mae Hobbs Jennings. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Faye Jennings and brothers, Donnie and Jimmy Jennings.

Mr. Jennings is survived by son, Michael Keith Jennings of Rock Island; grandsons, Brandon Keith (Christina) Jennings of Shelbyville, and Michael Shane Jennings of Rock Island; granddaughters, Megan Lee (Chris) Hayes of McMinnville and Emily Tucker of Shelbyville; nine great-grandchildren; sister, Joyce Madewell of Cookeville; brother, Clark Jennings of McMinnville; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Per his wishes, Mr. Jennings will be cremated. There will be no service or visitation at High’s.
