Myrtie Joe Woodard

Murfreesboro, TN resident and Cullman, AL native Myrtie Joe Woodard, age 80, was born August 15, 1946 and died September 25, 2026 at Willow Branch Health and Rehabilitation in McMinnville, TN following an extended illness.

A nurse aid for a nursing home in Leeds, AL and of the Baptist faith, the daughter of the late Clyde Sudeth and Opal Hitt Grigsby Woodard. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sons, Norman Ray Sanford and Bryan Oniel Sanford and daughter, Tammy Kay Sanford.

Mrs. Woodard is survived by son, Clyde Sanford (Lori Yoder) of Murfreesboro, TN; grandchildren, Alison Sanford of Alabama and Kiley Yoder of Smithville, TN; great-grandchildren, Lyndsey, Dominic, William and Angelina Davenport; brother, Terry Woodard of Alabama and several nieces and nephews.

Per Mrs. Woodard’s wishes, she will be cremated. No service or visitation will be held at High’s.
