Nancy Jane Rich

Rock Island, TN resident and Chicago, IL native Nancy Jane Rich, age 80, was born December 21, 1944 and died April 30, 2025 at her residence following an extended illness.

A homemaker and a member of We are Israel Bible Study, she was the daughter of the late Leon J. and Francis S. Gleason Clute. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by son, Daniel Simmons; partner in life, Bruce Foster; brothers, Daniel M. Mulvey, Jr. and Charles M. Kinney and sister, Wanda L. Clute Gilmer.

Mrs. Rich is survived by children, Anesa, Moshen (Leandra) Mubarez, Nora (Dale) Gower, Jason Mubarez and Kelly Powley; sisters, Mary (Vint) Griswold of Midland City, AL, Lois Bower of Olean, NY and Lottie Mogg and Sherri Wisner, both of Cuba, NY; seventeen grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held at 5:00 p.m. Saturday, May 3, 2025 in High’s Chapel with Nora Gower officiating. Burial will follow at a later date in Waverly, TN. Visitation will be Saturday from 2:00 p.m. until time of service at High’s.
