Neola Faye Sharpe

Smithville, TN resident and Van Buren County, TN native Neola Faye Sharpe, age 92, was born January 23, 1928 and died December 29, 2020 at NHC Healthcare in Smithville, TN due to complications from Covid-19. Retired and member of Madison Street Baptist Church, she was the daughter of the late Jim and Hassie Hillis Simons. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Clifton Sharpe, Jr. and nine siblings. Mrs. Sharpe is survived by three children and spouses, Sandra and Bruce Lewis of Smithville, TN, Larry and Linda Sharpe of Maryville, TN, and Charles & Melissa Sharpe of Morrison, TN; six grandchildren, Rhonda Ware, Steven Sharpe, Matt Sharpe, Angie Henry, Monica Baker, and Stefanie McFall; sixteen great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive. A graveside service and interment will be held in Gardens of Memory Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. Friday January 1, 2021 with Bro. Harlan Simmons officiating. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday and 11:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. on Friday at High's.
