Nettie Louise Hutchings

March 16, 1935 — November 10, 2023

McMinnville, TN resident and Loretto, TN native Nettie Louise Hutchings, age 88, was born March 16, 1935 and died November 10, 2023 at Manchester Center for Rehabilitation and Healing in Manchester, TN following an extended illness.

A retired inspector with ConAgra Foods, caregiver and member of Morrison Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Herman and Vera Grooms York. She was married to Henry Hutchings who preceded her in death in 2006. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by son, Archie Gary Bonner; grandson, Josh Davenport; sisters, Syble Hillis, Mary Beumer and Frances Taylor and brother, Alvin York.

Mrs. Hutchings is survived by daughter, Patricia (David) Davenport of McMinnville, TN; granddaughter, Kandra (Tony) Julian of Baxter, TN; great-granddaughter, Annabelle Julian of Baxter, TN and several nieces and nephews. 

Graveside service and interment will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, November 13, 2023 at Caney Branch Cemetery in McMinnville, TN with Chris Perry officiating. Visitation will be Sunday from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Monday from 9:00 a.m. until 12:15 p.m. at High Funeral Home. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Morrison Church of Christ.
