Nettie Magdalene Solomon Grizzle

Nettie Magdalene Solomon Grizzle, age 92, a Spencer, TN resident and Warren County, TN native, was born July 7, 1929 and died November 8, 2021 at her residence following an extended illness. She was a retired assembly line worker at Levi’s, a member of Campaign Church of God of Prophecy, and the daughter of the late Ervin and Willie Ann Hale White. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two husbands, George Lee Solomon and Rex Grizzle; two sons, Gary and Ricky Solomon; grandson, Anthony Bryan King; seven brothers, Willard, Virble, Tom, Alex, Junior, Bobby Joe and Dillard White; and seven sisters, Juanette Kirby, Emogene Williams, Peggy Sue White, Jeanetta Free, Geneva Ferrell, Virginia Ann Bell, and Johnnie Belle Bouldin. Mrs. Grizzle is survived by six sons and spouses, Bill and Anne Solomon of Murfreesboro, TN, Bob and Barbara Solomon of McMinnville, TN, Michael and Anne Solomon of Spencer, TN, Duane “Bo” Solomon of Lafayette, TN, Freddy and Carla Solomon of Spencer, TN, and Johnny and Gail Solomon of Rock Island, TN; special daughter, Ann Barnes of Rock Island, TN; nineteen grandchildren; forty great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and two daughters-in-law, Annette Solomon and Vickie Solomon. Numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews also survive. Funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Thursday, November 11, 2021 in High’s Chapel with Rick Lyles officiating. Burial will follow in Campaign Hilltop Cemetery in Campaign, TN. Visitation will be Wednesday from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at High’s.
