Norna Dean Martin

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Norna Dean Martin, age 64, was born August 15, 1961 and died April 2, 2026 at Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford in Murfreesboro, TN following an extended illness.

Norna worked in Dietary at NHC Healthcare in McMinnville and was the daughter of the late Wiley and Emma Johnson Martin. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by granddaughter, Kierra Martin and brother, Benny Martin.

She is survived by children, Taliesha Martin, Bryson Martin and Ryan Martin, all of McMinnville, TN; grandchildren, Daylon Keen, Makya Martin, Taliah Martin, Khiree Martin, Tiona Martin, Dashawn Keen Martin, Nevaeh Johnson, Brylon Johnson, Turelle Martin and Zaiden Johnson; great-grandchild, Azayli Hillis; sisters, Thelma Johnson, Lois Martin, Munice (Michael) Harris, Mary (Bobby) Knox, Linda Henderson, Sarah Martin and Shawna Martin; brothers, Douglas (Teresa) Martin and Billy Martin; uncle, James Johnson and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Monday, April 13, 2026 in High’s Chapel with Michael Harris and Douglas Martin officiating. Burial will follow at Bethlehem Cemetery at Martin Charge in Warren County. Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. until time of service at High’s.
