Patricia Sue Austin

McMinnville, TN resident and Grundy County, TN native, Patricia Sue Austin, age 73, was born December 16, 1948 and died October 5, 2022 at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro, TN following an extended illness.           

A homemaker and a member of First United Methodist Church, she was the daughter of the late Lewis Gordan and Tiny Bouldin Roberts, Sr.  She was married to Gerald C. Austin of McMinnville, TN on February 23, 1968. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brother, Lewis Gordon Roberts, Jr. and two sisters, Lena Mae Roberts and Betty June Roberts.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Austin is survived by three children and spouses, Tina and Jason Rowland of McMinnville, TN, Michelle and Stephen Roberts of Altamont, TN and Allison and Daniel Ocmand of Perry, GA; six grandchildren and spouse, Meagan and Joshua Treadway, Hannah Beth Rowland, Miles Gross and Jayden and Mackenzie and Olivia Ocmand; two great-grandchildren, Naomi and Ezra Treadway; one great-grandson, Treadway on the way and several nieces and nephews.

Per Mrs. Austin’s wishes she will be cremated. There will be no service or visitation at High Funeral Home.
