Patricia Denee Witt

McMinnville resident, longtime Murfreesboro, TN resident and Nashville, TN native Patricia Renee Mitchell Witt, age 71, was born August 29, 1954 and died June 20, 2026 at Alive Hospice in Murfreesboro following an extended illness. 

A retired employee with Randstad Staffing and a member of Gath Baptist Church, she was the daughter of the late Earl and Nadia Bowman Mitchell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Lee Witt. 

Mrs. Witt is survived by her daughters Ashley Lea Witt and Amanda Evelyn Witt, both of McMinnville; granddaughter, Evelyn Jane Jiang Witt of McMinnville; brother, MSGT Phillip Mitchell, USMC Retired of McMinnville; sister, Pamela Lynn of Unionville, TN; sisters-in-law, Vicki Mitchell of McMinnville and Amy Witt Smith of Nashville, TN as well as several nieces and nephews. 

Graveside service and interment will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 24, 2026 at Gath Cemetery with Jackie Matheny officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 3:00 p.m. until & 7 p.m. at High's.
