Paul Dwight Nunley

Rock Island, TN resident and Grundy County, TN native Paul Dwight Nunley, age 73, was born August 7, 1949 and died August 7, 2022 at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro, TN following an extended illness. A Vietnam veteran of the United States Army, retired lineman and purchasing agent from Caney Fork Electric Cooperative and of the Church of Christ faith, he was the son of the late William Carroll and Barbara Grace Schiesser Nunley. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, J.W., Kenneth, Kermit, Kelly and David Nunley and sisters, Florence Nunley Scott, Louella Nunley Yates, Carolyn Nunley Hodgson and Hilda Nunley Martin. Mr. Nunley is survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 13, 2022 in High’s Chapel with Stephen Martin officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. View Cemetery in McMinnville, TN. Visitation will be Friday from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at High’s.
