Paul Douglas Henson

Morrison, TN resident and Harlan, KY native Paul Douglas Henson, age 74, was born February 25, 1951 and died January 20, 2026 at Select Specialty Hospital in Nashville, TN following an extended illness.

A technician with AT&T for 36 years and a member of the Church of Christ, he was the son of the late H.P. and Elva Josephine Berry Henson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, John Henson; grandson, Cooper Swims and niece, Angela Henson.

He was married to Nancy Lee Henson of Morrison, TN on August 18, 1979. In addition to his wife, Mr. Henson is survived by daughter, Jennifer (Mike) Swims of Morrison, TN; son, David (Julia) Henson of New Orleans, LA; grandchildren, Liam Henson, Violet Henson, Aiden Henson and Conner Swims and nephews and nieces, John Henson, Daniel Henson, Emily Gerth, Casey Raim and Courtney Ward.

Per Mr. Henson’s wishes, he will be cremated. An inurnment will be held at a later date in Old Philadelphia Cemetery in Warren County, TN. No service or visitation will be held at High’s.
