Paul McCaleb

Cookeville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native Paul McCaleb, age 88, was born June 5, 1934 and died suddenly on September 1, 2022 at his residence.         

A United States Marine Corps veteran of Korea, an order and distribution technician for Kraft Foods and a member of Algood Assembly of God, he was the son of the late Petway Banks and Birdie Mae Anderson McCaleb. He was married to Betty Faye Brown on June 6, 1987, who preceded him in death on November 13, 2019. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by sisters, Joyce Lefever, Lola McCaleb, Oleta Sandlin, Eleanor Simerly and brothers, Joe McCaleb and Alfred McCaleb.

Mr. McCaleb is survived by son, Christopher Mark McCaleb of Missoula, MT; daughters, Deborah McCaleb of Dallas, TX and Paula (Paul) Maner of Atlanta, GA; grandson, Travis Maner; great-grandsons, Ethan Maner and Christopher Maner; brother, Calvin McCaleb of McMinnville, TN and sister, Carol Davenport of Florida.

Funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, September 4, 2022 in High’s Chapel with Steve Breedlove officiating. Burial will follow in Providence Cemetery in Warren County, TN. Visitation will be Saturday from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. and Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at High Funeral Home.
