Paul Stephen Raptis

Spencer, TN resident and Los Angeles, CA native Paul Stephen Raptis, age 70, was born December 13, 1955 and died July 5, 2026 in Indiana following a brief illness.

An extradition officer and member of Experience Community Church, he was the son of the late James Raptis and Margaret Warner Fulte. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by daughter by marriage, Andrea Steakley Cooper.

He was married to Joyce Raptis of Spencer, TN on May 25, 1991. In addition to his wife, Mr. Raptis is survived by grandchildren, Kylan Myers and Koleby Myers; great-grandchildren, Kaleb Myers and Jackson Myers; brother, Nick (Carol) Raptis of Petaluma, CA; sisters, Connie Brinkerhoff of Lovelock, NV and Teddi (Gary) Sammartano of Watervliet, MI and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, July 11, 2026 in High’s Chapel with Joe Brown and Josh Brooker officiating. Entombment will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Warren County, TN. Visitation will be Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at High’s.
