Paul Edward Ward

Smithville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native Paul Edward Ward, age 79, was born November 8, 1945 and died November 6, 2025 at his residence following an extended illness.

A retired parts manager for Boudin & Lawson and member of Oak Grove Church of Christ, he was the son of the late Thurman and Wilma Jean Martin Ward. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Murrell Lee Ward and Michael Ward and sister, Alice Christian.

He was married to Janice Ward of Warren County, TN on May 14, 1977. In addition to his wife, Mr. Ward is survived by children, Courtny (Gwynn) Newby of McMinnville, TN, Ryan Ward of Warren County, TN and Leslie (Melody) Ward of McMinnville, TN; grandchildren, Kane Newby and Dylan Ward; brothers, Kenneth (Audrey) Ward of Rock Island, TN, David Ward of McMinnville, TN, Thurmand Lynn (Laurie) Ward of Pikeville, TN, Jim Ward of North Carolina and Tim Ward of Rock Island, TN; sisters, Martha Braswell of Rock Island, TN, Linda (Tommy) Thompson of McMinnville, TN and Brenda Henderson of Rock Island, TN; sister-in-law, Janice Ward of Smithville, TN; several nieces, nephews and cousins and special fur baby, Bella Grace.

Visitation will be Sunday, November 9, 2025 from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at High’s. Mr. Ward will be cremated following the visitation.
