Phillip Earl Wimberly

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Phillip Earl Wimberly, age 77, was born October 11, 1948 and died January 28, 2026 following a sudden illness.

A member of Bybee Branch Church of Christ and a retired employee of National Sheet Metal, he was the son of the late Edgar Earl and Zetta Bouldin Wimberly. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Booth Swann Wimberly on November 24, 2020.

Mr. Wimberly is survived by his sister, Jean (Stanley) Clendenon of McMinnville.

Graveside service and inurnment will be held at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, February 12, 2026 at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Warren County, TN with Ray Weddington officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at High’s.
