Phyllis Kay Nowlin

McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native Phyllis Kay Nowlin, age 72, was born April 21, 1951 and died July 23, 2023 at her residence following a short illness.           

A retired clerk for the Warren County Clerk’s Office and a member of Christ Chapel Church, she was the daughter of the late Fred L. and Lera Mae Curtis Nowlin. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brother, William M. Nowlin and nephew, Brian Nowlin, Sr.

Miss Nowlin is survived by sisters, Freddie Mae Nowlin and Gary Joyce Nowlin, both of McMinnville, TN; brothers, Charles L. Nowlin and James Leslie Nowlin, both of Hermitage, TN and Stevie Nowlin of McMinnville, TN and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. 

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, July 29, 2023 in High’s Chapel with Pastor Sommer Worley officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Warren County, TN. Visitation will be Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at High’s.
