Richard "Flame" Stephen Denton

Richard “Flame” Stephen Denton, age 57, a McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native, was born June 15, 1964 and died November 13, 2021 at his residence following a sudden illness. He was an assembly tech at Yorozu, affiliated with the Apostolic Ark in Murfreesboro, TN, and the son of the late Jerry Bryan and Jacine Martha Nancy Wanamaker Denton, Sr. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by niece, Jessica Slaughter. Mr. Denton is survived son, Jacob Denton; brother, Bryan (Amy) Denton, Jr.; two sisters, Julia Jacine (Carl) Slaughter and Roxann Campbell; special friends, Regina & Don Curtis all of McMinnville, TN; nephew, Kenny; nieces, Beth, Becki, Natosha, and Holly; and great-nieces and great-nephews, Kade, Chase, Bryson, Keera, Kayley, Ember, and Ellie. He was a lover of music and enjoyed playing the drums and guitar. His favorite past time was visiting with family and friends and talking about old times. He had a deep love for his family and most of all, he had a genuine love and respect for the Lord Jesus. Graveside service and interment will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 16, 2021 in Shiloh Cemetery in Warren County with Terry Wanamaker officiating. No visitation will be held at High’s.
