Robbie Louis "Grandaddy" Mason

McMinnville resident and Warren County, TN native Robbie Louis “Grandaddy” Mason, age 69, was born September 10, 1956 and died January 16, 2026 at his residence following an extended illness.

A self-employed master carpenter and a member of the Church of Christ, he was the son of the late Kenneth Elton and Evelyn Carrie Wilson Mason. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Mark and Bryan Mason.

Mr. Mason was married on October 12, 1974 to Rhonda Cole Mason of McMinnville, TN. In addition to his wife he is survived by daughter, Tina (Scott) Krofssik of McMinnville, TN; son, Jason (Jess) Mason of McMinnville, TN; grandchildren, Aaron (Laura) Roe, Alexis (Daniel) Smith and Andrew Krofssik; great-grandchildren, Ezekiel, Victoria, Freya, Patrick, Leonidas, Allen, Ozzie and Abie; brothers, Kenneth (Teela) Mason, Vernon Mason and Russell Mason; brother-in-law, Victor (Cynthia) Cole; sister-in-law, Kim (Sam) Merriman and Terry (Steve) Stubblefield and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Rhonda would like to say a special thank you to her two wonderful children for helping her through this tough time. The family would also like to thank the staff of Gentiva Hospice, especially nurse Emily Alexander.

Graveside service and interment will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 19, 2026 at Grange Hall Cemetery in Warren County, TN with Chris Perry officiating. Visitation will be Monday from 11:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. at High’s.
