Robert "Rusty" Hayes

Robert “Rusty” Hayes passed on December 4th, 2025 following a sudden illness. He was surrounded by his family upon his passing. Rusty was born April 19, 1962 and was the son of the late Robert Earl Hayes and Betty Jo Pennington Hayes of McMinnville, TN.

He was a former employee of Stone Man Rock Quarry, Hullett’s Tire Center of Morrison and Rock Solid Security.

He is survived by his sisters, Marilyn (Wendell) Mooneyham and Donna (Bob) Clark; nephews, Chris (Connie) Wilson and Erin (Adrienne) Best; nieces, Stephanie Wilson, Heather (Alton) Hill and Olathe Jeannie (Stephen) Maclntyre and several great nieces and nephews.

Rusty was known for his love for life, laughter and spending time with his family and friends.

He’ll be forever missed!

The family has chosen to have a Celebration of Life at a later time.
