Robert Kenneth Pliha

McMinnville resident and New York City, NY native Robert Kenneth Pliha, age 87, was born November 6, 1937 and died May 26, 2025 at his residence following a brief illness.

A United States Army Veteran and a retired self-employed computer software engineer, he was the son of the late Louis and Maria Donscescs Pliha.

Mr. Pliha is survived by his wife, Linda Wilson of McMinnville; children, Chris (Stephanie) Pliha, Michael (Katie) Pliha and Susannah (Dr. Noah) Laracy, all of Los Angeles, CA; step-children, Jeff Thurston of Franklin, TN and Vanessa Ritter of Murfreesboro, TN; grandchildren, Ethan, Aidan, Beckham, Benjamin and Olivia Pliha and Ava Grace Laracy; step-grandchildren, Ashley (Trevor) Florence, Will Ritter, Connor Thurston, Sydney Thurston and Ellen Thurston and brother, Steve Pliha of Santa Barbara, CA.

Per Mr. Pliha’s wishes, he will be cremated. A graveside service and celebration of life will occur at a later date.
