Shirley C. Fuqua Holt

McMinnville, TN resident and Overton County, TN native Shirley C. Fuqua Holt, age 73, was born May 24, 1952 and died September 9, 2025 at her residence following a brief illness.

A caregiver with Generation Mental Health Facility in Morrison, TN and a member of Freedom Life Baptist Church, she was the daughter of the late Bill and Ruby Gladys Southard Fuqua. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by son, Russell Lynn McCormick; sister, Anna Sue Cutts and nephew, Jason Buckner.

Ms. Holt is survived by the father of her children, Norman McCormick of Morrison, TN; children, Kevin McCormick of Rock Island, TN and Amanda (Clint) Williams of the Centertown Community; grandchildren, Kaylee Beth Dustina Williams, Tripp Allen Williams and Mia Gunter; nephew, Timothy Buckner and several cousins.

Per her wishes, Ms. Holt will be cremated. Visitation will be on Friday, September 12, 2025 from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at High’s.
