Shirley Yvonne Simons

McMinnville, TN resident and Dunlap, TN native Shirley Yvonne Simons, age 75, was born July 27, 1946 and died January 29, 2022 at her residence following an extended illness. A retired dietary employee of St. Thomas River Park Hospital and of the Baptist faith, she was married to James “PeeWee” Simons of McMinnville, TN on February 14, 1962. She was preceded in death by son, James Floyd “Jim” Simons. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Simons is survived by sons, Michael (Diana) Simons of Sparta, TN and Kevin Simons (Anna Gerstenschlager) of Rock Island, TN; daughter, Dana (Jansen) Odineal of Morrison, TN; daughter-in-law, Kimberly Simons (Summers) of McMinnville, TN; grandchildren, Christopher (Erika) Simons, Jennifer Ratcliffe (Kyle), Kara Simons, Sierra Simons, Jamie Simons (Jasper Myers), Jaidence Simons, Tristin Simons, Haley Simons, Gavin Simons, Ayden Odineal, Jakoby Odineal, and Camdyn Odineal; great-grandchildren, Linley Lawhorn, Mary Beth Simons, Amelia Simons, Gage Ratcliffe, Luke Ratcliffe, Aurora Ratcliffe, Levi Turner, Eliza Turner, Gunner Myers, and Gracelyn Myers.
