Steve Jennings

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Steve Jennings, age 72, was born February 21, 1951 and died October 6, 2023 at his residence following a brief illness.           

The owner of J and W Nursery, he was the son of the late Burger and Delphia Jennings. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Johnny Jennings; niece, Veleaka Weddington and two sisters-in-law, Kaye Jennings and Christy Jennings.

He was married to Linda Jennings of McMinnville on November 1, 1968. In addition to his wife, Mr. Jennings is survived by daughter, Natalie Fann of McMinnville; three grandchildren, Kealey Caldwell, Peyton Huntley and Carson Huntley; two brothers, David (Helen) Jennings of Morrison, TN and Jerry Jennings of McMinnville and nieces and nephews, Allen Jennings, Brandon Jennings, Danny Jennings, Connie Simpson, Shanna Jennings, Tammy Buckner, Lisa Jennings and Tommy Weddington. 

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 9, 2023 in High’s Chapel with Jason Nunley and Billy Campbell officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Warren County. Visitation will be Sunday from 12:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Monday from 8:00 a.m. until time of service at High’s.
