Teresa Frances Bennett

McMinnville, TN resident and Spencer, TN native Teresa Frances Bennett, age 69, was born September 4, 1953 and died January 23, 2023 at St. Thomas River Park Hospital in McMinnville following an extended illness.           

A member of the Baptist church, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Lola Mae Yates Blanton. She was married to Kenneth Bennett who preceded her in death on July 10, 1998.  In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by brothers, Coy Yates, Glenn Blanton, Joel Blanton and David Yates.

Mrs. Bennett is survived by children, Kenneth White of San Diego, CA and Sheila Kesey, Brian White, Michelle Bennett, Tammy Bennett and Sheri White, all of McMinnville, TN; twenty-one grandchildren, Javier Martinez, Leticia Martinez, Mikki Martinez, Ceci Martinez, Julian Martinez, Adriana Martinez, Ashley White, Kristina White, Alicia White, Brian White, Tyler White, Chris Ogden, Hannah Kesey, Barbara Webb, Dakota Bennett, Kenny Dodd, Haygen Leverett, Coty Cantrell, Casey Cantrell, Chase Cantrell and Kyle Johnson; twenty-three great-grandchildren and sisters-in-law, Rose Yates of Morrison, TN and Darlene Blanton of McMinnville, TN.

Per Mrs. Bennett’s wishes, she will be cremated. Inurnment at Yates Cemetery in Spencer, TN will be announced at a later date. No service or visitation will be held at High’s.
