Teresa Lynn Martin Thompson

Teresa Lynn Martin Thompson, age 64, a McMinnville, TN resident and Dayton, Ohio native was born August 24, 1956 and died August 6, 2021 at her residence following an extended illness. She was a housekeeper with NHC in McMinnville, a member of the Baptist faith, and the daughter of the late Basil Henry and Nancy Mary Evans Martin. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by siblings, Mattie Lou Snyder, and Glenda Sue Foster. Ms. Thompson is survived by three children, Joe Thompson and Chad Ray Thompson both of McMinnville, TN and Alicia Marie Cherry of Shelbyville, TN; granddaughter, Jasmine Marie Thompson of McMinnville, TN; brother, Mark (Sara) Martin; and sister, Vanessa (Tom) May both of Michigan. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, August 8, 2021 in High’s Chapel with Jr. Ralph officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Warren County. Visitation will be Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at High’s.
