Terry Steele

McMinnville, TN resident and Dekalb County, TN native, Terry Steele, age 75, was born October 4, 1946 and died July 15, 2022 at Alive Hospice in Nashville, TN following a sudden illness. A retired truck driver for Weaver Transport, he was the son of the late Olin Earl and Louise Etta Crawford Steele. He was married to Mary Gayle Young Steele on April 20, 1974, who preceded him in death on January 8, 2011. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by, father-in-law and mother-in-law, Raymond and Louise Young; brother-in-law, Dean Young and five sisters. Mr. Steele is survived by special niece, Angelia Steele of McMinnville, TN; special nephew, Dalton (Hailey) Stotts of McMinnville, TN; special great-niece, Layla Stotts; special niece, Allison Stotts; great-niece, Brittany Watts of McMinnville, TN; two brothers, Jerry Steele and Phillip Steele, both of McMinnville, TN; several nieces, nephews and cousins and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Billy and JoAnn Young of McMinnville, TN. Graveside service and internment will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Warren County, TN with Dalton Stotts and Wayne Steele officiating.
