Thea Jane Shelton

McMinnville resident Thea Jane Shelton, age 8, was born April 15, 2017 in Cookeville, TN and died March 8, 2026 in McMinnville.

She was the daughter of Randi Jean Hutchings, who also died on March 8, 2026.

Thea is survived by sisters, Briley Jones and Kaitlynn Shelton, both of McMinnville and Amanda Johnson of Lake City, FL; brother, Braylor Jones of McMinnville; grandmother, Brenda Hutchings of Wichita, KS; aunts and uncles, Randy Kirk Hutchings of McMinnville, Adam Beran of Wichita, KS, Sheli Jordan of McMinnville, Carrie Bolin of Sparta, TN, Jay Hutchings of McMinnville, Cheyenne Hutchings of Wichita, KS and Dawn Davis of New Jersey; cousin, Shannon Theisen of New Jersey; great-grandmother, Barbara Robert of Wichita, KS and many special friends.

A private graveside service was held at Mt. View Cemetery in McMinnville.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2026 from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Milner Recreation Center in McMinnville.
