Thomas Paul Basham

McMinnville, TN resident and Viola, TN native, Thomas Paul Basham, age 84, was born July 18, 1938 and died October 4, 2022 at St. Thomas River Park Hospital in McMinnville, TN following an extended illness.           

A United States Army veteran and retired self-employed handyman, he was the son of the late Allen and Inez McBride Basham.  He was married to Kathy Basham of McMinnville, TN on September 20, 1958.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers-in-law, Jack Miller and Tom Haight.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Basham is survived by sisters, Jody Miller, Cathy (Delano) Miller and Shirley Haight, all of Michigan; several nieces and nephews; sister-in-law, Lorraine (Bob) Clough and his faithful four-legged friends, D.O.G. and Trixie.

Per Mr. Basham’s wishes he will be cremated. No visitation or service will be held at High Funeral Home.
