Timothy Eugene Mathis

McMinnville, TN resident and Grundy County, TN native Timothy Eugene Mathis, age 54, was born June 5, 1968 and died July 20, 2022 following a short illness. A factory worker, he was the son of the late Charlie B. and Lilly May Blaylock Mathis. Mr. Mathis is survived by cousin, Renee Sweeten; sister, Amanda Gail Casteel; daughter, Taylor Wood; granddaughter, Evelyn Cates; nephew, Israel Casteel; cousins, Carolyn (William) Fults and Dewayne Sweeten and adopted brother, Eddie Johnson. Per his wishes, Mr. Mathis will be cremated. A memorial service will be held in High's Chapel Saturday, July 30, 2022 at 5:00 p.m. Online condolences may be made at www.highfuneralhome.com.
