Tracey Anne Dorris Denton

McMinnville, TN resident and Memphis, TN native Tracey Anne Dorris Denton, age 60, was born October 6, 1965 and died November 24, 2025 at her residence following a brief illness.

Mrs. Denton was the former general manager of Shoney’s in McMinnville and the daughter of the late Kenneth Gordon and Melinda Ann Hampton Dorris. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brother, Timothy Dorris; brother-in-law, Jerry Denton and sisters-in-law, Mae Craig and Jeanette Denton.

She was married to David Lynn Denton of McMinnville, TN on January 22, 1993. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Denton is survived by son, Benjamin Adam Denton (Tiffany Layman) of McMinnville, TN; granddaughter, Addyson Denton; grandson, Jorden Denton; brothers-in-law, Tommy Denton and Leonard (Flo) Denton, both of Sparta, TN and Eustace (Charlene) Denton of Destin, FL; sisters-in-law, Liz Denton of Quebeck, TN and Juanita (Calvin) West of McMinnville, TN; nephews, Gavin Dorris and Toby Dorris, both of Estill Springs, TN and cousin, Richard "Dick" Dorris of McMinnville, TN.

Per her wishes, Mrs. Denton will be cremated. No service or visitation will be held at High’s.
