Treva Joyce Reed

November 22, 1947 — January 3, 2024

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Treva Joyce Reed, age 76, was born November 22, 1947 and died suddenly January 3, 2024 at St. Thomas River Park Hospital in McMinnville.            

A retired employee of the Oster Corporation and member of Highway 56 North Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Pitts and Josephine Haston Powers.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, James Sidney Powers, Don Powers and Howard Powers. 

Ms. Reed is survived by children, Scott (Amy) Reed of Ashland City, TN and Michael (Jennifer) Reed of Rock Island, TN; seven grandchildren, Jordan Reed, Scott Reed, Kayla Reed, Madison Reed, Josh Reed, Jackson Reed and Jenna Reed; siblings, Larry "Yogi" Powers and Gloria and Vernon (Mia Lan) Powers, both of McMinnville, Clayton (Diane) Powers of Dunlap, TN, Diane (Felix) Mullican of McMinnville, Lynne Knight and Steve of Wartrace, TN and Rickey (Debbie) Powers and Jeff "Red" (Jackie) Powers, both of McMinnville and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. 

Graveside service and interment will be held at 4:00 p.m. Friday, January 5, 2024 at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Warren County with Brett Merritt officiating. No service or visitation will be held at High’s and family and friends will meet at the cemetery.
